The 2018 decision to change our name from OFRH to NARAL Pro-Choice Oregon Foundtion grew out of our newly-released five year strategic plan, developed over months of engagement by our Board of Directors and staff with input from over 75 members and key organizational allies. We look forward to this plan guiding us through the growth needed to effectively meet the challenges and embrace the opportunities that lie ahead. Knowing that now more than ever, Oregon needs a strong organization advocating for women and all people who can become pregnant, we identified the following four goals as critical to our organizations’ – and our movement’s – success.
The work of the NARAL Pro-Choice Oregon Foundation will focus on mobilizing our grassroots base, training the pro-choice champions of tomorrow, and overseeing implementation of our legislative victories such as the Reproductive Health Equity Act.
We’re partnering with Power to Decide to support One Key Question(R) implementation across the country. We are confident in the strong alignment of our missions and know this partnership will ensure success of the OKQ initiative on a national level.
